Let's Talk About | AEW World's End

The final AEW PPV of the year, Worlds End, took place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

Let's Talk About the main card of Worlds End. Kazuchika Okada won the Continental Classic, he was victorious against Will Ospreay in the Final. The Bruv had a great match against Kyle Fletcher in the Semi Final, earlier in the night.

Christopher Daniels announced he was no longer the EVP, which paved the way for Kenny Omega's predictable return, Omega confronted Okada and gave him the Championship, watching this gave a realisation that the Tournament was a complete waste of time, the creative could have waited for Fight for the Fallen on January 1st, to see this specific moment between Omega and Okada.

Speaking of the Continental Classic, after Ricochet lost to Kyle Fletcher in the second Semi Final, Swerve Strickland had some true reality words for Ricochet, the segment ended when the crowd threw paper on Ricochet whilst he was in the ring, Whilst the "A-haaaaa!" is cringe, Ricochet is playing the heel role well so far.

Mariah May is still the AEW Women's Champion after her win against Thunder Rosa, the Tijuana Street Fight was decent, the highlight of the match was Mariah putting Rosa through the outside table to get the win.

MJF remains the holder of the Dynamite Diamond Ring, defeating Adam Cole, fans were perhaps expecting members of the Undisputed Kingdom to turn against Cole, which never happened. Let's see what happens in 2025.

When AEW announced Konosuke Takeshita versus PowerHouse Hobbs for the International Championship, it was one of the interesting matches on the card, the match itself was disappointing, because of lack of story. Let's see who Takeshita's next challenger is, whereas it's only a matter of time, hopefully, until Hobbs finally joins The Hurt Syndicate.

Mercedes Mone's reign as TBS Champion continues, shoutout to her and Kris Statlander, however, it must be said, their previous match was better than this one. No disrespect.

Jon Moxley won the Fatal Four Match which included: Orange Cassidy, Adam Page and Jay White, to remain AEW Champion. I'll be completely honest, this was boring, there wasn't anything newsworthy that happened during the match.

FTR and a returning Adam Copeland formed an alliance, they will take on the Death Riders on the next episode of Dynamite, a post match segment on PPV setting up a match for a TV show is crazy work. It is what it is.

Let's Talk About | Saturday Night's Main Event

Saturday Night's Main Event returned to our television screens, LIVE! from the sold out Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York. The venue was very nostalgic, Jesse Ventura appeared on the show. Let's Talk About the five match card.

Drew McIntyre put the roster on notice, with a resounding victory over Sami Zayn, with the transfer window currently open, there is a possibility the Scot could move to SmackDown.

Liv Morgan is still the Women's World Champion, picking up the win against Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley interrupted the celebrations, it looks as though we will see another meeting for the Championship, quite possibly on January 6, the premiere episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix.

The Ring General, Gunther won the triple threat match, involving Damian Priest & Finn Balor to remain the World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther is continuing to discover his true form again, which is great to see.

Congratulations to Chelsea Green, she was crowned as the first ever Women's United States Champion, defeating Mia Yim (Michin) in the Tournament Final. Chelsea deserves this accolade, Mia will be a Champion in the near future, without doubt. Shoutout to Chelsea, Mia and everyone else that competed in this tournament.

Cody's reign as WWE Champion resumes, The American Nightmare was very heelish, a true characteristic of his that certain sections of the fanbase will refuse to acknowledge, especially after he hit the Cross Rhodes to Kevin Owens onto the nearby steel chair whilst the referee was out of the ring, which led to the win, my opinion as someone who watched the show on TV, it's a shame we didn't see Kevin attack Cody during the LIVE! instead of watching fan footage of the chaos on Twitter/Instagram.

WWE's social media account confirmed Cody suffered an injury, which, in storyline, means he will probably appear on the next episode of SmackDown after making a "miraculous recovery" it's just a thought.

Let's Talk About | NXT Deadline

Welcome back to the blog, if you are new? hello and welcome. NXT Deadline was LIVE this past Saturday Night (Sunday Morning here in the U.K) from Minneapolis, Minnesota, it's always nice when NXT goes on the road.

The PLE began with the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge, we knew Wes Lee, Je'von Evans, Nathan Frazer and Ethan Page were the confirmed participants, the fifth man was due to be Eddy Thorpe, until he was attacked backstage before the last episode of NXT closed out, the wait to find out who the fifth man chosen by Ava was over, it was Oba Femi, he went on to win this match and is now the Number One contender for the NXT Championship.

Shoutout to Lee, Evans, Frazer and Page for their performances as well. The interaction between Oba and Page during this match was hilarious to watch.

Lola Vice got her "get back" from the ECW Special by winning the Underground Match against fellow rising star, Jaida Parker. Vice is still unbeaten in this stipulation, the questions are, will this feud continue? or will Lola and Jaida finally form a true alliance, we will tune in to find out.

Nathan Frazer was in action again, this time defending the Tag Team Championships with Axiom, successfully against Myles Borne and Tavion Heights, this was very good to watch, hopefully there's a rematch in the future.

Trick Williams passed the challenge of Ridge Holland to remain the NXT Champion, this was a decent co-main event, with nothing really of note to talk about, no disrespect. Ridge belongs in the title picture for sure, whereas the much anticipated Trick versus Oba match is now set for New Years Evil.

Giulia is the Number One contender for the NXT Women's Championship, she will challenge Roxanne Perez at New Years Evil on January 7th. Shoutout to Sol Ruca, Zaria and Wren Sinclair for their star making performances, including Stephanie Vaquer, she was smiling whilst Giulia was celebrating, they could be future rivals for the NXT Women's Championship.

The Deadline has now passed, the conversation is over, be sure to check out the archives on this website.
