Let's Talk About | AEW World's End
The final AEW PPV of the year, Worlds End, took place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.
Let's Talk About the main card of Worlds End. Kazuchika Okada won the Continental Classic, he was victorious against Will Ospreay in the Final. The Bruv had a great match against Kyle Fletcher in the Semi Final, earlier in the night.
Christopher Daniels announced he was no longer the EVP, which paved the way for Kenny Omega's predictable return, Omega confronted Okada and gave him the Championship, watching this gave a realisation that the Tournament was a complete waste of time, the creative could have waited for Fight for the Fallen on January 1st, to see this specific moment between Omega and Okada.
Speaking of the Continental Classic, after Ricochet lost to Kyle Fletcher in the second Semi Final, Swerve Strickland had some true reality words for Ricochet, the segment ended when the crowd threw paper on Ricochet whilst he was in the ring, Whilst the "A-haaaaa!" is cringe, Ricochet is playing the heel role well so far.
Mariah May is still the AEW Women's Champion after her win against Thunder Rosa, the Tijuana Street Fight was decent, the highlight of the match was Mariah putting Rosa through the outside table to get the win.
MJF remains the holder of the Dynamite Diamond Ring, defeating Adam Cole, fans were perhaps expecting members of the Undisputed Kingdom to turn against Cole, which never happened. Let's see what happens in 2025.
When AEW announced Konosuke Takeshita versus PowerHouse Hobbs for the International Championship, it was one of the interesting matches on the card, the match itself was disappointing, because of lack of story. Let's see who Takeshita's next challenger is, whereas it's only a matter of time, hopefully, until Hobbs finally joins The Hurt Syndicate.
Mercedes Mone's reign as TBS Champion continues, shoutout to her and Kris Statlander, however, it must be said, their previous match was better than this one. No disrespect.
Jon Moxley won the Fatal Four Match which included: Orange Cassidy, Adam Page and Jay White, to remain AEW Champion. I'll be completely honest, this was boring, there wasn't anything newsworthy that happened during the match.
FTR and a returning Adam Copeland formed an alliance, they will take on the Death Riders on the next episode of Dynamite, a post match segment on PPV setting up a match for a TV show is crazy work. It is what it is.
