Let's Talk About | Survivor Series: WarGames

It's November, you know what that means, Survivor Series took place LIVE from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There was a lot of build up and anticipation for this night, let's talk about it.

The team of Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky and Bayley were victorious against the team of Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae, judging by who was involved here, we were going to see some moves from the top of the cage, shoutout to Tiffany and Iyo for those moments. Rhea pinned her fierce rival, Liv for the win, this could potentially set up a Championship Match at Saturday Night's Main Event in two weeks time.

Shinsuke Nakamura recently returned on an episode of SmackDown, targeting the United States Championship, which he managed to acquire from LA Knight here. Congratulations to him, people were complaining about this online, saying that Andrade or Carmelo Hayes should have won it instead, those thoughts are understandable, however, at the same time, they are names that will be in the mix, alongside Knight, to challenge Shinsuke.

The crowd in attendance were very quiet in the early goings of the night, until the triple threat for the Intercontinental Championship, Ludwig Kaiser showed why he will be very successful when he inevitably splits from Gunther, Sheamus's wait to finally complete the set goes on, Bron's reign as Intercontinental Champion continues.

Prior to Survivor Series, there has been a lot of talk in regards to Gunther's form as of late, after his loss to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, his performance against Damian Priest will quieten the critics, the only thing The Ring General will perhaps be annoyed about is he didn't win clean, because of Finn Balor's interference, this could be a triple threat in the future.

In the main event, The OG Bloodline, with CM Punk, got their revenge from Crown Jewel by winning WarGames against New Bloodline, Jacob was an absolute madman, as many expected he was going to be, Shoutout to Bronson Reed for being involved in a prestigious storyline and main event, he deserves this opportunity to shine, which he did. The drama/tension between Punk & Reigns during the match was great storytelling due to their association with Paul Heyman.

This may be a very unpopular opinion when I say, the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Matches need to return, WarGames reminds me of the Hell in a Cell events in the past, when October arrived, it was time for Hell in a Cell, if that makes sense.

Let's (try to) Talk About | AEW Full Gear

All Elite Wrestling presented Full Gear this past Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, let's try to talk about the main card matches that took place that night.

The PPV began with the Fatal Four for the Tag Team Championships, Private Party walked out to "Shots" their vintage theme from back in the day, before they successfully defended the titles against The Outrunners, Malakai Black & Brody King of House of Black and Max Caster & Anthony Bowens, who are on the brink of splitting up, not everyone loves the Acclaimed nowadays.

MJF made Roderick Strong tap out via submission, it has to be said that Adam Cole's attempt to save Roderick was very poorly timed, he chased off MJF, Kyle O'Reilly pushed down Cole, my apologies for the language when I say that this story is a** backwards, are we supposed to forget Cole was the "Devil?" and all of a sudden we're supposed to show sympathy towards him? no disrespect to Adam, I blame the creative team for this.

Mercedes Mone put the TBS Championship on the line against Kris Statlander, this was perhaps Mercedes best match since joining this company, that's fair to say right? Full Gear was the venue for Jay White's fifth win against Adam Page, this wouldn't be the last time we saw these guys on the night.

Kyle Fletcher versus Will Ospreay was perhaps the best match of the night, the only gripe I have about this contest is it should have been over after Kyle hit Will with the Tombstone Piledriver, on the Steel Steps, this win for Kyle puts him on the map, the creative team must make him a true contender to win the upcoming Continental Classic Tournament, depending on the format and route, a final between Kyle and Will would be great to tune in and watch.

Daniel Garcia won the TNT Championship from Jack Perry, the crowd sounded like they were very disinterested in this match, whereas Konosuke Takeshita versus Ricochet should have been on an episode of Dynamite because it was similar to Fletcher versus Ospreay.

"The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley made a statement by winning his debut pay per view match against former AEW Champion Swerve Strickland via the Hurt Lock, The Hurt Syndicate took out Prince Nana, Swerve stopped the attack, this story isn't over yet, hopefully we will see a tag team match of MVP & Bobby Lashley versus Swerve & Prince Nana.

Jon Moxley, with the assist from Wheeler Yuta, defeated Orange Cassidy, to remain the AEW Champion, no disrespect to Orange when I say he was never going to win the title, maybe in the future he will, we will see about that, now let's talk about the chaos and confusion in regards to what happened in the ring next, we saw some storyline continuation (which is something that some fans have criticised this company for) especially when we saw Christian and Adam Page, followed by Jay White.

If my memory is correct, Christian promised Page a title shot if he ever became Champion and the reason as to why Jay got involved, it's because Christian cost him a match during the last Continental Classic Tournament, the visual of Darby Allin crashing into the Death Riders car closed out the show, this was something we would usually see on an episode of Dynamite.

This conversation in regards to Full Gear is now over, thanks for reading, be sure to check out the archives on this website.

Let's Talk About | NXT

This week's episode of WWE NXT took place from the birthplace of ECW. Philadelphia, the introduction featured the current members of the roster and the iconic ECW theme, it was very well put together.

ECW Legend Dawn Marie was the special referee for the Hardcore Match, which was won by Jaida Parker, against Lola Vice, shoutout to everyone involved here.

Wes Lee attacked another ECW Legend, Rob Van Dam, backstage, prior to his match against Je'von Evans, RVD got revenge on Wes which helped Je'von win.

General Manager Ava announced the return of NXT Deadline on December 7th, Rhyno gored Rob Stone while he was talking.

Ridge Holland made a statement, he rolled up Trick Williams for the win during the tag team match to perhaps earn the right to challenge for the NXT Championship, Bubba Ray and Trick re-enacted the "WAZZAP" from the Attitude Era days. It was great to see D-Von make an appearance, he brought the table to the ring, Bubba and Trick then put Ethan Page through the table. The trio celebrated with the crowd, a great moment for the crowd in attendance for sure.

The nostalgia of ECW continued as Tony D'Angelo defeated Nunzio, to remain NXT North American Champion.

We finally saw a segment involving Heritage Cup Champion, Charlie Dempsey and William Regal, let's see how this storyline progresses.

ECW Legend Francine was sat ringside to watch the Ten Women Tag between Women's North American Champion Fallon Henley, Jacy Jane & Jazmyn Nyx, the Fatal Influence trio teamed up with Cora Jade & NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez, they took on Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Zaria & Giulia.

Meta Four's Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson distracted Stephanie & Giulia in the closing moments, Zaria accidentally speared Jordynne and then pinned Roxanne for the win, she was joined by everyone on her team and raised their hands in victory to close out the show, Jordynne versus Zaria could be a feud in the future.

That is it for the review, be sure to check out the upcoming schedule and the archives on this website.

Let's Talk About | WWE Crown Jewel

Welcome back to the blog, if you are new? hello and welcome, let's not waste any time and talk about Crown Jewel.

Roman, Jimmy and Jey recently reunited, it was a great moment, it's a shame the reunion wasn't during a LIVE episode of SmackDown but here we are, the chemistry in the match was missing for the OG Bloodline as Solo pinned Roman to pick up a statement win for Bloodline 2.0. Sami Zayn teased joining them after the match but he suplexed Solo instead, he inadvertently hit Roman, leading to arguments between him and The Usos.

It was important for Bloodline 2.0 to win here, a loss would have made them look weak, this loss for the OG's makes the next chapter/inning of the Bloodline Story very interesting, bring on the drama for Survivor Series.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill's title reign goes on after winning the Fatal-Four tag match, shoutout to them as well as, Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson and Piper Niven and Chelsea Green, they all have to be acknowledged for their performances here, one hundred percent.

Seth Rollins defeated Bronson Reed, Seth will be competing in a number one contenders match on Monday Night, Bronson might cost him the opportunity and continue their rivalry.

Liv Morgan was crowned the first ever Women's Crown Jewel Champion, during the match, Tiffany ran out to attempt to cash in the briefcase, which distracted Nia Jax, Raquel got involved to level the playing field.

Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton ended in a no contest, they took out referees and General Managers, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis during the chaos.

LA Knight is still the United States Champion, defeating Carmelo Hayes and Andrade in a very entertaining triple threat.

Cody Rhodes won the inaugural Men's Crown Jewel Championship against Gunther, The Ring General congratulated The American Nightmare afterwards, Rhodes celebrated in the ring with Triple H and then Liv Morgan as the show went off the air.
