This is the Money In The Bank conversation, however, before we begin, we must acknowledge that World's Collide was an excellent show, there were names that I wasn't familiar with, I am now, hopefully this event is a yearly occasion.
Let's Talk About Money In The Bank.
The line up for the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match had so much star power, there was a lot opinion amongst the WWE fanbase in regards to who should win, the general consensus was Naomi should win, the opinion came true.
Congratulations to Naomi, this is her time, she has earned it, Naomi is now in possession of the Money In The Bank briefcase, the current Champions should now be wary and Proceed With Caution.
In terms of storylines, Jade might be looking to thwart Naomi's title hopes, we could see Bianca re-aligning with Naomi in the future.
Dominik vs Octagon Jr was an impromptu match for the Intercontinental Championship which was set up at World's Collide. I was unfamiliar with Octagon Jr's work prior to this weekend.
Dominik remains Champion.
The stipulation for Lyra Valkyria vs Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship was: if Lynch loses, she can no longer challenge for the title for as long as Valkyria is champion.
However, if Valkyria loses, she will be forced to raise Lynch's hand and acknowledge Lynch as the better woman. The Battle of The Irish was awesome, Becky rolled up Lyra by grabbing the tights for leverage to win the Women's Intercontinental Championship.
Lyra had no choice but to raise Becky hand in victory as per the stipulation. Lyra put title around Becky's waist and then attacked Becky. It was cool to see Lyra show emotion and frustration because of her loss.
The Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match was fantastic, which shouldn't be a surprise because of the participants involved, we got the expected shenanigans with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attempting to help Seth, their plans were stopped by JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu.
The Samoan Werewolf stopped Solo from climbing the ladder and said the much anticipated words: "I hate you Solo!"
This was storyline continuation from the recent episode of SmackDown, where Solo criticised Jacob, who was listening nearby, the current Bloodline looks set to be over as Jacob sent Solo crashing through the Ladder at ringside and walked away.
After all the chaos and shenanigans, Seth Rollins is now the two time Money In The Bank winner, as expected. YEAH! (too soon? sorry, my bad)
WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas was made official. Hopefully the night two main event next year is better than the one we saw earlier this year.
The Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes vs Logan Paul & John Cena tag team match was the main event and truth be told, there was a feeling that we were probably going to see something newsworthy happen that we were going to be talking about on social media.
The feeling was right because there was a mystery person wearing a hoodie, who hit Cena with a spear.
It was R-TRUTH! R-TRUTH returned! We wanted Truth! We got Truth! Shoutout to Pat McAfee and Michael Cole for that one.
Cody hit Cena with the Cross Rhodes and pinned the WWE Champion to win the match for him and Jey, Cena vs Cody 2 for the WWE Championship is on the horizon.
Shoutout to Logan Paul by the way for another impressive performance, especially when he was filming himself during the match, the moonsault on to the announce table where Jey was situated was insane.
Jey is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship on the next episode of WWE RAW against Gunther.
Will Seth cash in successfully at the right time? Or will CM Punk or Roman Reigns or Sami get involved to stop The Visionary. It's going to be an interesting main event on Monday.
Before we close out let's talk about R-Truth, who is now going by his real name Ron Killings, his return to WWE TV at Money In The Bank was unexpected, after the show finished there was discussion/a narrative going around online (shock horror) that the release from his contract was a work, Ron took to twitter and quickly dismissed the rumor and to be honest with you, whether it was a work or not, I don't care because my thought is as a wrestling fan that's been watching for many years, it was so great to be genuinely surprised and happy to see Ron return because in this social media era, we sometimes tend to hear about things happening before they play out on TV. Ron is beloved and respected by us, the fans and every wrestler he has worked with throughout his career.
