Let's Talk About | Money In The Bank

The Money In The Bank PLE began with the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, it was a quality line up, everyone was a true candidate to win, at the end of the day, Drew McIntyre was victorious, like he said he was going to be during a promo on an episode of WWE RAW, people on social media were unhappy that Jey Uso didn't win the briefcase, the belief here is WWE has a plan for Jey later this year, The Bloodline Story.

The second match of the night was Sami Zayn versus Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship, it's crazy how quick Bron runs in the ring, he is starting to be a fan favourite lately, it must be said that the Goldberg comparisons have to stop, let Bron cook on his own, Sami won the match clean with no shenanigans, it was surprising to see and a good decision at the same time, because unpredictability in wrestling is a good thing, one hundred percent.

The host of Money In The Bank, WWE Hall Of Famer, Trish Stratus, introduced John Cena, who announced he will be retiring soon.

The title matches continued, it was time for Damian Priest to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, this was Seth's first match since WrestleMania 40, he recently returned from injury, the stipulation for this contest was, if Seth lost? he couldn't challenge for the Championship again, whilst Damian is champion, when Rollins hit the Falcon Arrow, it was a two count, this was strange because it seemed as though they missed a cue for Drew's music to hit, moments later it did, Drew cashed in the case to make it a triple threat, CM Punk, as expected, attacked Drew, Damian then hit the South of Heaven Chokeslam for the win to remain the Champion.

Gunther will be Damian's next opponent at SummerSlam, there is a lot of talk online about what's next for Seth and so on, we won't delve in to speculation here, let's just wait see how things progress on WWE RAW.

The Women's Money In The Bank match was the best one of the night, without question, salutes to every competitor here, it was chaos, they put their careers at risk here by hitting their moves on the available weapons, the standout moment was Tiffany Stratton sending Chelsea crashing through the table, before grabbing the briefcase, if you haven't seen this match? go and watch it.

The Six Man Tag Team Match was the main event, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes versus Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu, Solo has been calling himself The Tribal Chief and Head of The Table, which has been met with "We want Roman" chants, Jacob was, without doubt, the star of this match, this version of The Bloodline picked up the win here after Solo pinned Cody for the win, setting up a possible WWE Championship match for SummerSlam.
