Night Two of the WWE Draft took place on Monday Night RAW. LIVE from Kansas City.

Stephanie McMahon announced the First Round Picks. 

Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser Drafted to RAW / Jade Cargill Drafted to SmackDown 
Damage CTRL Drafted To RAW / Kevin Owens Drafted To SmackDown 

Apart from Damage CTRL, everyone else in this round remains on their respective brands. 

Logan Paul and iShowSpeed announced the Second Round Picks.

CM Punk Drafted To RAW 
Bobby Lashley. Street Profits & B Fab Drafted To SmackDown
Braun Strowman Drafted To RAW / Tiffany Stratton Drafted To SmackDown 

Braun Strowman returned to WWE TV and will now appear on Monday Nights going forward, everyone else stays where they are.

Ron Simmons and JBL announced the Third Round Picks. 

LWO Drafted To RAW / Legado Del Fantasma Drafted To SmackDown
Drew McIntyre Drafted To RAW / Shinsuke Nakamura Drafted To SmackDown
 

It was nice to see the LWO and the Legado's drafted to separate brands as their feud ran its course, Drew stays where he is to continue his feud with Punk, while Shinsuke will be looking to take on new opponents on SmackDown. 

Teddy Long and Alundra Blayze announced the Fourth Round Picks.

Judgment Day Drafted To RAW / Naomi Drafted To SmackDown 
Ilja Dragunov From NXT Drafted To RAW 
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven Drafted To SmackDown

The Judgment Day and Naomi stay where they are, Ilja Dragunov moving to WWE RAW is a very interesting one, hopefully we will see him take on The Ring General Gunther in the future, their story on NXT was incredible. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven have moved brands, I'm sure Adam Pearce is happy about that.

The New Day Drafted To RAW / Pretty Deadly Drafted To SmackDown
Lyra Valkyria from NXT Drafted To RAW 
Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell Drafted to SmackDown

The New Day and Pretty Deadly stay where they are, Lyra Valkyria has been called up to the main roster, she is now on the same brand as current Champion Becky Lynch, the last time the two met was in NXT for the Women's Championship, which was won by Lyra, another match between them would be cool to see, continuing with the draft results, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell could be potential challengers for the Women's Tag Titles on SmackDown after the Backlash: France PLE. 

General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis announced the Sixth and Final Round of Picks.

Blair Davenport From NXT Drafted To SmackDown

Final Testament and DIY have switched brands, this means that Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell and Austin Theory are now all on the same brand, NXT viewers will remember the group called The Way, also, Bronson Reed stays where he is, Blair Davenport was the final televised pick of the 2024 WWE Draft, she is a quality addition to the women's division on SmackDown.

Before we close this conversation here, it must be said that this year's draft felt very underwhelming. The majority of the picks were predictable in all honesty, can it really be called a draft if people stay on the same brand? I don't think so, the idea of having a draft is nice as it gets us, the fans, talking about who is going to go where, the production of it felt boring, no disrespect, next year's draft should just be a TV special, on ONE night only, including immediate LIVE reactions throughout the program from the wrestlers that were picked, for example, how the stars from NXT reacted to their call ups, followed by the rest of the draft results on social media, to make the concept feel special again. 

Let's Talk About | The WWE Draft | Night One

The first night of the WWE Draft took place on Friday Night SmackDown.

Here are the rules. 

Before the draft started, Paul Heyman announced Roman Reigns voluntarily withdrew from the process, he will be a free agent. 

Cody Rhodes and Triple H announced the first round of picks.

Bianca Belair Drafted to SmackDown / Jey Uso Drafted To RAW
Carmelo Hayes From NXT Drafted to SmackDown / Seth Rollins Drafted To RAW

Bianca Belair is the first official draft pick, The EST of The WWE, Jey & Seth all stay on their respective brands, whereas Carmelo has been officially called up to the main roster to compete on Friday nights. 

Michelle McCool & Torrie Wilson announced the second round of picks. 

Randy Orton Drafted To SmackDown / Bron Breakker From NXT Drafted to RAW
Nia Jax Drafted to SmackDown / Liv Morgan Drafted To RAW 

The Viper, Randy Orton stays on SmackDown, likewise Liv Morgan on Monday Nights, Nia Jax will be looking to challenge Bayley in the future, Bron Breakker is another one that has been called up to the main roster.

LA Knight Drafted To SmackDown / Ricochet Drafted To RAW 
Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga & Paul Heyman Drafted To SmackDown 
Sheamus Drafted To RAW

LA Knight & The Bloodline stay on SmackDown, Ricochet remains on WWE RAW where he will be joined by The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus.

AJ Styles Drafted To SmackDown / The Alpha Academy Drafted To RAW
Andrade Drafted To SmackDown / Kiana James Drafted To RAW from NXT

AJ, who will challenge Cody for the title, stays on the same brand as the current WWE Champion, Andrade will be wrestling on the blue brand, Kiana James has earned a main roster call up to the red brand. 

Night One of The 2024 WWE Draft has been completed, attention now turns to Night Two this Monday Night. 

Let's Talk About | WrestleMania 40

Triple H kicked off Night One of WrestleMania 40.

Rhea Ripley defeated Becky Lynch to remain the Women's World Champion, this was a quality match to start off Night One in a cold Philadelphia. 

Austin Theory & Grayson Waller & The Miz & R-Truth won the Tag Team Championships, The belts will now be on separate brands going forward. 

Rey Mysterio & Andrade defeated Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio, this was an unexpected result, the thought here was that Carlito was going to turn against his fellow LWO crew, which never happened. 

Jey Uso defeated Jimmy Uso, YEET! now that the match is over, it's time for the brothers to reunite again, this may be a very unpopular opinion for some. 

Shoutout to Bianca, Jade & Naomi, they defeated the great team of Dakota Kai, Asuka & Kairi Sane, this was a very impressive debut by Cargill, she put her skills, strength and power on display here, the hairwhip from Bianca to Asuka was loud, the crowd reacted well to it, looking forward to watching what is next for the winning trio. 

Sami talked to Chad Gable before his opportunity for the Intercontinental Championship against Gunther, Sami was then met by Kevin Owens before going out to the ring, his family was ringside for this match. He kicked out of Powerbombs from Gunther, Sami somehow rejuvenated himself and won the Championship, congratulations to him, whilst the Ring General's 666 Day reign is over. 

The Rock & Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes in the main event, Roman speared Rock inadvertently during the match, would that play a part on the close of night two? The WrestleMania Night Two Main Event stipulation was going to be Bloodline Rules. 

Stephanie McMahon kicked off Night Two.

Drew McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship in front of a LIVE crowd, Seth was visibly upset after the loss, CM Punk attacked Drew during their confrontation. 

Damian Priest ran down to cash in on Drew to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Congratulations to him. 

Snoop Dogg was on commentary for the next match, where Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits defeated The Final Testament in a Philadelphia Street Fight, Bubba Ray Dudley was the guest referee. 

LA Knight defeated AJ Styles, this was his first win at WrestleMania. YEAH!

Logan Paul successfully defended the United States Championship against Randy Orton & Kevin Owens, iShowSpeed was the person in the Prime Bottle costume and was RKO''d on the announce table.

Congratulations to Bayley on winning the WWE Women's Championship against former Damage CTRL team mate Iyo Sky. 

The main event of WrestleMania was the very much anticipated rematch, Roman Reigns versus Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Jimmy and Jey fought each other during the match, Solo attempted to help Roman like last year, John Cena ran down to even things up, he put Solo through the announce table, The Rock's confrontation with John Cena was a great WrestleMania Moment, hearing The Shield's music wasn't on the bingo card, however, Undertaker making an appearance was, there's no WrestleMania without the Phenom. 

Rhodes was left in the ring with Roman, The Tribal Chief hit Rollins with a steel chair as payback for what happened all those years ago. Rhodes avoided getting hit by the spear and he hit multiple Cross Rhodes for the win, he celebrated with his fans, family and various superstars and Triple H.

Roman's title reign was and will always be The Greatest Of All Time. 

Cody Rhodes has "finished the story" and is the new Champion.
